Proposed change to Preamble of NCACS bylaws: The preamble currently reads: We are a national coalition of schools, groups and individuals committed to creating an egalitarian society by actively working against racism, sexism, ageism, and all forms of social, political, and economic oppression. The proposed change suggested by Zahra Lightway from Light Way Schools and discussed at the Feb Board meeting: We are a national coalition of schools, groups and individuals committed to creating an egalitarian society by actively working for racial unity, gender equity, respect for all ages, and social, political, and economic freedom. |
